The project is developed based on a joint venture between, H.Q. Empreendimentos Turisticos LDA, lead by a second-generation builder Mr. Ricardo Querido and Ekxpert Consult, lead by Mr. Krist Dewilde having more than 20 years of business development experience. Mr. Ricardo Querido is more than 25 years active in construction works. He has successfully delivered since 1994, more then 250 apartments and villas in the region of silver coast, but also in Algarve where he made a series of considerable buildings and villas,with values ranging from 150.000,00€. TO 750.000,00€ investment. His company is active in construction for as well the private sector as the public sector. Works in the public sector include the delivery of more than 50 public works, which includes schools, nursing homes, social housing, sport facilities, most of it in silver coast region.
Mr. Ricardo Querido
Ricardo is a 46-year old Portuguese man, passionate about his country and region.
Born in the center of the silver coast region, in Caldas da Rainha, he soon became interested in various activities, having been linked to leading associations in the region where he was even vice president of the famous local club Caldas Sport Clube.
It was in the music, as a founding menber of a band, that he took his first steps in the professional world, but quickly joined the family business, the real estate. Activity that continues till date with the same dedication and passion.
Passion is also the right word to define what he feels for the silver coast region, his youth spent on the fantastic local beaches, the growth of this area, as a world reference for surfing and golf, it’s fantastic gastronomy, and the quality of the wines, made him maintain himself in the region, where he continues lives and works with his family.
It is with great pleasure that he sees other nationalities enjoying the quality of life that the silver coast provides, like Krist, a Belgian resident, who quickly discovered the local charms, and with whom Ricardo established an investment partnership, whit a view to promoting Obidos Villas Luz, energy efficient houses. Anyone should be able to enjoy everything the region has to offer.
Mr. Krist Dewilde
Krist is a young man in his fifties who has often been professionally staying in Portugal for the past eight years. From the first contact with the land, its inhabitants, the nature, the climate, the food and drinks,… Krist felt the positive vibes and the impact on his personal drive. Every day is like a new adventure with discoveries of new small food businesses, places where you can enjoy the beautiful weather and a nice drink without stress. Krist doesn’t have to tell anyone that Portugal is the wine country par excellence. Krist feels so good about the environment that he decides to start a B&B there with his (business) partner Ellen.
After having experienced all this, Krist wants to take a new step and combine his project-driven approach with the competences of Mr. Ricardo Querido to deliver one of the first energy efficient villa projects in Portugal – Silver Coast. Krist will of course rely on his expertise that he has built up over the past 30 years.
